Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop carrier-class applications to enable the exchange of diagnostic medical images and other clinical trial data.
• Implement and enhance a J2EE based networked application to enable the exchange of diagnostic medical images and other clinical trial data.
  
• Employ state-of-the-art engineering practices including Agile/Scrum and test-driven development.
  
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain production systems as needed to ensure business continuity.
  

Requirements

• At least three years of Java development experience, and 1-2 years current J2EE experience.
  
• Strong design skills, object-oriented programming, and experience writing software design specifications.
  
• Experience in JPA or Hibernate required.
  
• Ability to develop applications to business and technical specifications.
  
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant field.
• You must have the right to work in the United States. We do not sponsor work visas.
  
• Experience with JSF, Swing, JBoss, Postgres, MongoDB, REST, SOAP and medical image data are advantages.
